Linus and his Lightbulb

There exists the derivative of ideas that come to mind for any child of potential who may wish to find yet another way to see things. Although initially playful with the notion of a simple light bulb held over his flaxen-haired head, Linus announced in jest that he “had a thought.” And yet, with setting this cliché aside, to see his mind just open up and raise that light bulb still tethered by cord to the wall- it became an interaction that brought out a genuine expression and moment of wonder. Even the most basic objects of this day and age can be teaching tools to all generations. All we have to do is just take a step back, let go of the distractions we sometimes don’t realize we are holding onto, and embrace imagination from a different angle. And even if this shared epiphany is from two different points of view, it remains a lesson of suggestion that can only lead to the appreciation of endless possibilities.
