“Stopping to Notice”
The alternative intention of a ‘no turn on red’ had me smiling at that commanding open hand instead. Please stop, for a moment, and just notice that sky. Just enjoy this sight and don’t question why. These sun rays bleeding through clouds that otherwise occupied most of the day caused my combustible based engine to take pause... for there is beauty in the flaws we make every now and again, never if mistakes should happen but when. And I’ll forgive you because I live through disappointments with hope. And those rays remind me of your laugh and smile as I wait for the light for a little more of a while. And in case you didn’t know this just remember that I’ll be stopping to notice because I see you, I really do.
