the closer i would look
the more time this moment took
to see the color cast
that would seem to last
only in brief intervals of thought
from the imagination that brought
a revelation of random spiralled paths
all starting at the epicenter of this macrotastic view
and the constant of an ever changing hue
as the pattern would expand
from where it all began
a sweet sentiment
to the otherwise mundane
but beautiful just the same
for each new day
as a unique way
for ideas to be born
and from these morning hours
it was from this cone flower's
candy corn...
